Partners

Troy Staples

Troy was born and raised on the family farm overlooking the South-West town of Harvey.

As a partner at KGL, a Certified Practising Accountant holding a Bachelor of Business degree and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Troy takes a hands-on approach to assisting owners with their business management and dealing with their taxation compliance. With a focus on business performance, asset protection and business succession Troy takes a practical approach to explaining complex issues in a way that real people can understand them.

Troy is married with four children and has a love of farming, camping, four wheel driving and all things mechanical.

Dana Maher

Bunbury born and bred Dana graduated in 2002 from Edith Cowan University.

She joined the firm in 2006 after working for four and a half years for another local firm. Dana is a qualified CPA who holds a public practice certificate, Dana became KGL's first female partner in July 2017. Dana is focused on helping people manage, monitor and build their businesses. Dana loves to stay active and is a keen beach volleyball and netball player. In 2007 Dana took six months leave to travel the UK and Europe and spent time working in the accounting industry in the UK which has helped broaden her horizons.

Today Dana is settled in her home town with her husband, daughter and young son and enjoys time spent with her family and friends.

Melissa Willis

Melissa was born and bred in Bunbury and joined the KGL team in May 2008. Melissa graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Business degree, as well as advancing to CPA status with CPA Australia in 2015. In her spare time Melissa enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Dawid Opperman

Dawid grew up on a farm in South Africa. He ran his own home based practice for almost 6 years in South Africa and moved to Australia in 2008. After 2 years braving the cold weather in Canberra, he and his family relocated to sunny Bunbury. Dawid loves the outdoors and spends most of his free time with his wife and three children.

Shan Rosman

Shan was born in Manjimup, and in 2008 moved to Perth to complete her Bachelor of Commerce degree at Curtin University. She now lives in Argyle with her husband and their four children. She joined the team at KGL in July 2011 and has since completed CPA studies. In her spare time, Shan enjoys bike riding, cooking and catching up with family and friends.

Tim Collins

Tim grew up in Boyanup and lived there until 2004. Joining KGL in 2012, he has since completed a Bachelor of Business degree with a double major in Accounting and Public Practice at Edith Cowan University in Bunbury, as well as advancing to CPA status with CPA Australia. Tim currently lives in Treendale with his wife and two children. Prior to his move into accounting, Tim worked in the retail, fire safety, farming and candy making industries.

Tim is a former state basketball and beach volleyball representative who can be regularly found in the gym at the local Surf Club.

Rudy Radiman

Rudy was born in Malaysia and raised in Bunbury. Rudy arrived at KGL after spending several years at another local accounting firm. When not counting beans, Rudy is a sports/video game enthusiast and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Administration Team

Dulcie Bridges

Dulcie grew up in Perth and settled in the Bunbury area in 1998. She now lives in Stratham with her family and enjoys camping, hiking and reading in her spare time.

Dulcie has worked in the accounting field most of her working life, achieved her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping in 2013 and since then has worked with businesses around the South West in a bookkeeping role.

Michelle Nietrzeba

Michelle has been at KGL since 2001 and is part of the KGL office administration team 4 days a week. She believes in providing great customer service to all our clients and is always up for a chat too!
